Greenistheknewblack.com was birthed out of my passion for sustainability and wellness and my desire to help people in a long lasting impactful way.

My mother died when I was 17 years old from breast cancer and a rare case of uterine cancer.

However, she was first diagnosed when I was in the fourth grade.

During, that time my whole family and I learned about a lot of chemicals that are  in everyday products and food items that triggers cell mutations.

This experience coupled by my education in culinary arts, wellness and sustainability and my own personal research and experience is where all blog post are derived from.
